The course with duration of 6 months (3
months of oil and gas technology and 3 months of mechanical QA/QC) is
designed to enable the students to foster their talents in the process
domain and transform their skills to professional level to get a decent
career in Oil and Gas industry. The topics covered in this course will
give a direction for the students and an edge in understanding the
concepts, process and its parameters in the oil and gas industry.
The mechanical QA/QC topics include the aspects of QMS, from a manufacturing environment. The quality parameters to comply with the international standards, being discussed in detail. Organizations are doing their best to maintain and improving the quality standards, to fight competition. The various non-destructive testing methods, types of welding from a manufacturing point of view, standards and codes are for piping etc.are dealt with. There are numerous material testing methods and we demonstrate these in the lab training session.
Upon completing this course you will be able to apply best practices in directional and vertical drilling, exploration and refining of crude oil and implement personal and environment safety, as well as perform inspections utilizing various NDT techniques in PT, MT,RT and UT methods in accordance with the company and customer specifications. You will be entitled as an NDT level 2 technician.
